Tiger Woods sets record at The Masters

In less than ideal weather conditions, Tiger Woods shoots a 72 and is at +1 headed into the weekend. "I'm right there."

Eldrick Tont Woods is the greatest, most electric, most needle-moving athlete that has ever lived. At 48 years old, with virtually only half of a working body, he still manages to garner all of the attention in the game he has dominated for over 2 decades. He walked off 18 today with, on paper, a modest even-par 72. That round was anything but modest.

The greatest iron player in the history of the game looked lost in the fairways. Luckily for us, he put on an absolute laser show off the tee and was a magician around the green. There are really no superlatives I could use that can sufficiently describe those 4+ hours of work. And if you’re not a golf fan, you really just can’t understand it. You just have to trust me when I say, WOW! I mean, he absolutely grinded his old ass off. The fruits of that grind? Tiger Woods has now made 24 consecutive cuts in The Masters, the most of all time.

As of writing this, he is 8 strokes back. Statistically, his chance of winning is slim, but after watching that man work today, there is no way you can completely count him out. He was just too good in some areas today and he is too much Tiger Woods. If he drives, chips, and putts like he did today and mixes in just average iron play, get the hell out of his way.
